DEIF opens new office in Zagreb, Croatia

On 8 October 2026, DEIF officially opened its new office in Zagreb, Croatia. Around 100 customers, partners, representatives from the Danish Embassy and DEIF colleagues joined the celebration, marking an important milestone for DEIF’s presence in South-Central and Eastern Europe.

Strengthening our presence in South-Central and Eastern Europe

The new office provides DEIF with a stronger local base for supporting customers and partners across the SCEE region and creates a place where customers can meet our teams, exchange knowledge and experience DEIF solutions first-hand.

The opening ceremony featured speeches from Christian Nielsen, CEO of DEIF, Jean-Michel Caillol, Senior Vice President, Alexander Gröber, Vice President, and Zarmin Haskovic, General Manager SCEE.

Together with Danish Ambassador Anne Toft Sørensen, the DEIF team then officially opened the new office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Bringing converter technology closer to our customers

A special feature of the Zagreb office is its Converter Lab.

Following the official opening, guests were invited to explore the new premises and visit the lab, where they had the opportunity to meet DEIF experts, ask technical questions and learn more about our converter solutions.

The Converter Lab gives us a dedicated environment for technical dialogue with customers and partners and will be an important part of welcoming visitors to the new Zagreb location.

Celebrating together in Zagreb

After the official programme and office tour, the celebration continued in a more informal setting. The Scandinavian-style office was complemented by a tent in the courtyard, where guests enjoyed traditional Croatian BBQ and continued conversations with customers, partners and colleagues into the evening.

It was a fitting way to celebrate not only a new office, but also the relationships and collaboration behind DEIF’s continued development in the region.
