AGC-4 Mk II

The automatic genset controller AGC-4 Mk II is the world’s most comprehensive genset controller offering all necessary functions for protection and control
ALC-4

Ideally suited for critical power applications, the ALC-4 integrates load handling into your power management system, eliminating the need for traditional PLC solutions.
ASC-4 Solar

Ideally suited for greenfield hybrid power plants, the ASC-4 Solar controller can interface with other DEIF controllers and a wide range of PV inverters, enabling you to integrate solar power in greenfield applications and maximise sustainable power penetration.
ASC-4 Battery

The ASC-4 Battery lets you quickly and easily add energy storage systems (ESS) such as batteries in greenfield hybrid applications with other DEIF controllers, providing seamless energy storage in commercial and industrial applications.
ASC-4 Wind

With its ability to control one turbine or an entire wind park, the ASC-4 Wind sustainable controller allows integration of wind power in any power plant. It can be used in an intelligent power or energy management system (PMS/EMS), balancing sources to cover demand while maximising renewable power penetration. The ASC-4 Wind is available as a fully customised solution for specific projects and is ideally suited for hybrid microgrid applications.

DVC 550

DVC 550 is a digital AVR designed for alternators with SHUNT, AREP or PMG excitation. The voltage controller monitors and regulates the alternator output voltage.
Any component that would bring down your critical power system if it failed is called a single point of failure. To avoid blackouts, you need to eliminate all of these single points of failure by consistently ensuring redundancy for these components throughout the control architecture. By doing so, you keep your system online and can achieve tier level compliance.
The multi-master architecture of DEIF DCSes ensures that there is always a command unit able to control the PMS. You can also install hot standby controllers on all positions. Achieving tier-compliant redundancy is not just about the controllers; consider adding extra generator starter systems and a redundant UPS, use two physically separate communication lines, consider the network topology (for example using a ring bus), and remember that breakers and other mechanical equipment can also fail.
You can configure the AGC-4 Mk II controller for N+X redundancy. By freely selecting how many extra running generators (spinning reserve) you need in the system, you can quickly configure for compliance with even the strictest requirements.
If your entire PMS fails, DEIF controllers can be set up to run in switchboard mode using analogue load sharing that offers stable load sharing and lets you manually start and synchronise generators and prioritise your load groups.
